INTERACTIVE SESSION ON FIRST EVER PICTURE OF BLACK HOLE

The topic of the interaction is“First Ever Picture of Black Hole”
The interactive session was conducted on May 06, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at schools auditorium.
It was an online interactive program organized to provide a platform for our students to interact with’ distinguished personalities in the field of Astronomy. Students got an opportunity to share their ideas, views and create a platform where the exchange of knowledge takes place. It helps students to enhance their analytical, critical and quick thinking, explore questions of identity, note-taking, speed reading, and in-depth research.
For this SPACE had invited Dr. Koushik Chaterjee, Doctoral Candidate at the University of Amsterdam. He worked with the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) theory team, which helped to interpret the recently released black hole image using multiple simulations. Also, he is working on projects related to theories of Astrophysical processes.
