Delhi World Public School, Noida Extension wore a festive look with grandparents and parents in the campus who had come to attend the Grandparents’ Day Celebration by the Pre primary wing of the school on Saturday, 21 Sept’19 and Sunday, 22Sept’19.
The little buddies impressed their ‘dada dadi’ and ‘nana nani’ by their mesmerising performance. The Chairman, Mr. Vipin Sahni and the Chairperson, Mrs. Kiran Sahni graced the occasion by their benign presence. The Director, Dr.Saiyam Sahni and the SHO, attended the programme the following day. The Principal, Ms. Jyoti Arora, felicitated the honoured guests and welcomed all the august gathering.
The guests were highly touched to witness that their grandchildren are imbibing such good values in school and also learning to uphold the traditional legacy of our country.
The blooming buds presented the diversities of the country by depicting dances of various states and then they presented the ‘Ram Katha’ – a comprehensive version of the Ramayan. The esteemed grandparents were involved in various games and cultural items which added a special charm to the programme. The school management members extended their cordial wishes by presenting a token on their behalf to all those who enthusiastically participated in the various items.
The programme ended with light refreshments and an exchange of gratified and pleasant feedback which will be treasured by the institution.
