All India 8th Korea-India Friendship Essay Competition 2020’- A Gateway to Literary Amalgamation!
‘All India 8th Korea-India Friendship Essay Competition 2020’ was organised by the Korean Cultural Centre, Embassy of the Republic of Korea. The primary goal of this competition was to instigate the understanding of students encompassing international & regional cultures. The competition was very informative and enriching as it served them the prestigious opportunity to explore the traditional aspects along with an enriching experience to boost their knowledge about the diverse historical background of the two nations. The competition further added a feather to the cap of achievements gained by our young learners who shared their perspective about the same. In their words “It was a multitude of information about the geographical, communal, religious aspects which gave a real picture of the countries to further strengthen and nurture a healthy bond to enhance cordial relationships”.

To cultivate friendship and ties between students of Japan and Korea , regular seminars and workshops are conducted with Japan & Korean Foundations. This helps to create global opportunities to foster amiability, trust, and mutual understanding through culture, language, and dialogue.
In the coming years, our students will be the beneficiaries of several cultural programmes from countries like Italy, U.K, Russia, Nigeria, Germany and many more. These initiatives will su0pport our commitment to helping our students to connect and create relationships across cultures both locally and globally.
CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY
Delhi World Public School, Noida Extension, wins at Nordic-Baltic International Programme!
The students of DWPS, Noida Extension made their mark at the recently-concluded Nordic-Baltic International Programme, which brought together premier schools across Delhi and NCR to engage with the 8 Nordic-Baltic countries, and explore their relations with India in the post-pandemic scenario. The progamme comprising a series of academic and extra-curricular competitions, also facilitated the development of 21st century skills such as critical thinking, media literacy, collaboration and communication among the participants and gave them a bird’s eye view of global politics.
We are proud to announce that the following students walked away with certificates and cash prizes at the conclusion of the programme:
Juana Jangra – Class VI – First position in public speaking, representing Team Denmark
Aradhya Pareek – Class II – Second position in public speaking, representing Team Latvia

The idea behind curating this eight week program is to have guided knowledge journey in water and environment, aiming at understanding the water related UN Sustainable development goals (SDG) like clean water and sanitation, wise consumption and production , life below water and life on land.
