Dwps ne takes pride in its unique initiative- community connect program, in inculcating and instilling fundamental values in students. In light of this, the students of ninth- grade of delhi world public school, noida extension were taken for a visit to chauganpur government school, noida extension on november 30, 2022 where the students of both the schools had a very interactive session through peer Teaching and Learning.The school under the unique initiative – community connect programme – organises the ‘ joy of giving’ initiative for the students of the two adopted educational institutions in the vicinity of dwps ne. The endeavour to light up the faces of the underprivileged children and create a smile is a noble gesture to touch the lives of the lesser fortunate ones.

JANTA KI THANLI 

The school ,under community connect program, embraces the responsibility towards the community and environment (both ecological and social) in which it operates..
One such activity is “Janta Ki Thali”. It is an initiative taken by the Nefowa Foundation to provide a full meal for only five rupees every Sunday. Around 250 people avail of this service. The student volunteers from senior school contribute regularly to the successful distribution of “Janta Ki Thali.

DWPSNE under the guidance of hon’ble Chairman Sir, has taken the initiative to begin the GREEN HOPE Programme, a major step towards conservation of environment and the COMMUNITY CONNECT PROGRAMME which showcases the magnanimous and philanthropic zeal of his persona aiming at reversing the effects of degradation in order for humanity to continue living in a sustainable manner. Almost 10,000 saplings have already been planted at various places, by the students, under the Tree Plantation Drive. The little rising stars of the school have a gone a step ahead and have embraced a plant each as a friend.

As a part of the Community Connect Program conducted in various ways and several times, annually, the students and the staff of Delhi World Public School, Noida Extension, in association with Goonj, happily took up the responsibility of reaching out to the needy and the socially and economically weaker section of the society, with the warmth of their hearts for the 7^th year in succession.

In another initiative under the community connect pogram, delhi world public school noida extension conducts the book donation drive with different societies in the vicinity the school also undertakes the noble mission of creating mini libraries and adopting a government school in the vicinity through the initiative of book donation drive under the school community connect programme.

Mankind is one, seeing that all are equally subject to the moral law. All men are equal in God’s eyes…. these lines have always seemed meaningful and realistic to each student of Delhi World Public School, Noida Extension as our school believes in inculcating basic values of humanity among its children like compassion, empathy, respect, concern, support, selflessness and many more. Keeping the same in mind, the students of class 8^th.  The students of both the schools had a very interactive session in which they discussed almost all the subjects, be it academics, sports or politics. They also distributed toys, books, chocolates and other food items as a token of love and affection. The best part of it was that many students expressed their wish of being peer educators and helping them in every aspect. The visit was indeed fruitful for the holistic development of the students for they learnt that our true nationality is mankind.
