Class Presentation – Life Long Learning !!!

An old adage goes thus:

I hear and I forget
I see and I remember
I do and I understand.

The act of doing makes learning extremely personal. As Sir Richard Branson says ‘ You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over.’
In the digitized world of learning, Class presentation is a great way of delivering positive learning experience. In Delhi World Public School, in order to enhance the academic output, students are provided with hands-on learning situations. The educators know that students learn more quickly and retain more information when they learn through experience. This kind of ‘Experiential Learning’ involves both self- initiative and self- assessment. It gives each child an opportunity for creativity and reflection. In the process, the learning thus acquired becomes ‘Lifelong Learning’.

The school, therefore, is providing a platform to each class to convert their academic learning into class presentation. Hence a part of the regular learning is being depicted by students through dance, song, recitation, skit, power point presentation, etc. reinforcing their learning quotient.
The theme of the Class Presentations of various classes is as follows:

i) Eat Well, Grow Well (Class I A)
ii) Seasons (Class I B)
iii) Healthy Food (Class II A)
iv) Our Beautiful World ( Class II B)
v) Share your Similarities, Celebrate your Differences ( Class III A & B )
